Woodhay Wonder doubles up
What a fantastic day for Tom Ward Racing on Saturday 7th October, when the 26,000gns Tattersalls Somerville yearling purchase wins the £150,000 Tattersalls Auctions Stakes race at Newmarket, thus giving her a victory of both sales races this autumn (including the £100k Tattersalls Somerville Auctions Stakes) in history.
Not only did the team achieve this result on a big stage and on a busy Saturday, but WOODHAY WONDER’s owners have now earned over £100k from these two starts. This was a tremendous accomplishment for all involved.
Plans going forward will be to give her a break over the winter and bring her back in the Spring for some interesting targets.
