Facilities
We train from our newly built Whitehouse Stables in Upper Lambourn. Having taken the time to design a facility that not only puts the horses first, but also prioritises our staff and owners we hope that our new yard is an operation that will grow into itself seamlessly over the years.
The 45 box facility comprises of two American styled barns as well as six traditional boxes along the front offering a variety of stabling options. Our barns and boxes are very well ventilated and practically laid out creating an efficient working environment. The barns, include a tack room and feed room designed with all the amenities so that every task can be done easily.
We also have a horse walker, a show ring, and an owner’s room within our trainers suite. Our yard will be ever evolving, therefore turnout paddocks, a trotting ring and lung pens will be available in the near future.
All of this sits within just a 5 minute walk to the Jockey Club owned and managed gallops.
The Jockey Club Gallops
We are proud to be training in what is called the Valley of the Racehorse. Lambourn, having in the past facilitated mainly National Hunt trainers and their horses, now boast that it is the up and coming hub for Flat racing in the country, where the majority 60/40 are Flat trainers.
There are over 8 miles of turf and 7 miles of all-weather gallops on over 550 acres of land, so there is plenty to choose from, and there is never any traffic amongst strings in the mornings.
