The Flag Flies Again

STATE FLAG got her head down last night (25th July) to win for the second time of her career. The three year old filly was partnered with Trevor Whelan at Newbury over seven furlongs. She was involved in the action early on, settling behind the leaders on the far side. It was a tight finish between the quartet, but the daughter of US Navy Flag was one better and battled it out to get her nose in front, winning by a shoulder. There is still plenty more fun for the rest of the year with the filly.

STATE FLAG is out of the Refuse To Bend mare, Uele River. Congratulations to her owners Ebury Racing 3 and the team at home.
