Roman Mist relishes the turf
ROMAN MIST wins at Nottingham Racecourse on Tuesday 27 April under James Doyle. Raced by Hot To Trot Racing 1 and leased from breeders Kildaragh Stud in Ireland, the filly showed true grit to hold off the field and get her head in front gamely.
Winning on her 8th time of asking this filly has been knocking on the door and really appreciated her transition to the turf, finishing 4th in her Handicap debut at Windsor in her previous start. Although, small she has proven to be mighty – leaping freshly around her box upon return to the yard – we look forward to more exciting days on the track with her this summer.
The result gave the yard its first turf winner for the start of the 2021 season and hopefully her victory paves the way for our runners this coming week.
