We're back!

Racing has begun again, and we have a lovely bunch of horses to run for us, including a team of older horses who have since been leading the way to the winner’s enclosure.

TINTORETTO, our last winner before the lockdown, became the first winner after when he found plenty under Tom Marquand to win with a bit in hand by 1 ½ lengths at Kempton.

‘He has really come to himself and seems to be enjoying his racing. He is very straightforward at home and should continue to progress. I have pencilled him in for the seven furlong Handicap at Epsom on Derby Day.’

Tintoretto is one of two horses racing for our Whitehouse Stable Syndicate, which comprises of an enthusiastic group of first-time owners who have brought plenty of luck to the Syndicate’s inaugural year.

MOURIYANI, also continues to improve and impress. He dropped back to 1m 4f on turf, which proved a good decision as he refused to allow anything to contest him at Goodwood.

‘He is another horse who seems in fantastic order. I dropped him back to a mile and a half because he has been showing much more speed in his work. He did that nicely at Goodwood and should have no trouble winning again. He will stay further but I will see what options arise.

DIRTY RASCAL owned by Julia and Charlie Rosier runs his first race back for the season in the Silver Wokingham on Saturday, making him our first ever horse to run at the Royal Ascot meeting. He is in great form at home and has Charles Bishop in the saddle.

‘This horse is in great form and has been away to Kempton for a racecourse gallop. I have him as far forward as I can at home however he will benefit from the run. This is a tough race and he has drawn the far side but I feel he should be able to show up well.’
