Our year so far.

In what seems like unprecedented times for the entire world we reflect on our year so far and things to come once everything gets back to normal.

Under two calm and collected rides from Laura Coughlan, the stable apprentice, MOURIYANI has managed to gain two victories. The son of City Zip has found his way in staying handicaps on the all weather and very much looks on the improve. ‘I have always liked this horse and he has managed to gain two nice victories over staying trips. I still believe there is plenty of progress to come and even back on the turf he should be able to show more.’

The new stable syndicate founded by some close friends saw a victory on just their second runner with TINTORETTO winning with plenty in hand at Kempton. This brought home a valuable winner for the guys under Tom Marquand who brought home the favourite in good style. ‘We bought this horse out of Ireland and took our time. He finally came to himself and won with a bit in hand. He will in no doubt be winning again this season even back on the turf. They are a good group of friends and I am happy to be able to get them involved somehow.’

The team at home have been very good since the out break and have been working hard as normal. We are all taking extreme precautions to avoid any issues and will continue to keep the ball rolling during these difficult times. There are some very nice horses waiting in the wings who will be ready to hit the ground running once we have been given the go ahead to start racing. We understand that everyone is in the same boat but we want to wish everyone well and hopefully we can all get through this and to the other side.
