Glorious Goodwood

The beginning of August meant glorious sunshine and Glorious Goodwood to match! Tom Ward Racing, in partnership with The Racing Dames & Pink Diesel Rose, hosted a marquee in the Richmond enclosure at Goodwood Racecourse (pictured above).

It was a fantastic event, with lots of owners and friends coming down to watch a fantastic day of racing as well as drinking lots of lovely rose wine!

And they’re off….

Sales Season is here! With the catalogues flowing through the door, we are super busy getting them analysed in search of the future winners for you. If you have something in mind in regards to ownership, or would like to get involved via a syndicate or a partnership now is the time! Get in touch today ahead of the sales for an informal chat around all the different options available for racehorse ownership!

Tom & Alex will be attending all the major sales in the UK, Ireland & France. The dates for this year’s sales are below:

23rd - 25th September - Tattersalls Ireland September Yearlings

29th - 30th September - Goffs Orby Yearling Sale (Book 1)

1st - 2nd October - Goffs Orby Yearling Sale (Book 2)

7th - 9th October - Tattersalls Yearlings Book 1

13th - 15th October - Tattersalls Yearlings Book 2

16th - 17th October - Tattersalls Yearlings Book 3

31st October - Tattersalls Autumn Yearling Sale

24th November - Tattersalls December Yearling Sale

Alongside the yearling sales, Tom and Alex will also be attending the Autumn Horses in Training Sales at Tattersalls on 27th - 31st October. They will be looking for older horses that can be improved to run on the flat, as well as looking for some horses for an exciting new venture into the jumping game and joining the National Hunt ranks. A 3 year old store by PASSING GLANCE has already been purchased to add to the team for the Whitehouse Stable Syndicate NH for the 2025/ 2026 season.

Tom and Alex will also be attending the Tattersalls December Foal Sale on 25th - 29th November. They have had success with purchasing foals that have gone on to join the team at Whitehouse Stables including previous purchase in 2023 for 10,000gns -  MAGNATURA (pictured below), who won on his second start this year (RPR 81) for the team as a two year old.

With the arrival of the yearlings means it is time for the annual Yearling Parade & Owners Open day! It was a great turnout last year, and we would love to see everyone (and more!) again here this year.

This year’s parade will be held on 25th October 2025.

HORSES FOR SALE

At Whitehouse Stables we have a selection of different ownership options to suit everyone’s budget. This could be the purchase of a horse outright, or maybe even a smaller share.
