LUISA CASATI cruises home

LUISA CASATI a three-year-old Vadamos filly purchased from Tattersalls as a yearling broke her maiden at Lingfield on Monday 28 June under Hector Crouch.

Bred by Mount Coote Stud and Mark Dixon, she has always been a likeable filly who we have given plenty of time to strengthen and develop. She has now rewarded our patience by winning under hands and heels by five-lengths in her fourth career start. There is plenty to look forward to from her.

'She is a progressive filly who is really starting to get the hang of things. She should improve plenty from this experience and I hope she can continue to step up as the season goes on.'

Also, on Monday CAPOTE’S DREAM placed 2^nd in a Class 2 over 6f at Windsor showing his abilities finishing only a length behind PUNCHBOWL FLYER and running on gamely having come from off the pace.

'He is a horse who just continues to improve with age and has only finished out of the frame once for us. He will continue to progress and will appreciate more pace in bigger fields.'

There are some big days in him for owners Bart Beswick and Charlie Rosier.
