FARASI in the spotlight

FARASI LANE (2yo Belardo gelding ex No Such Zone) earned the spotlight on Wednesday evening when Silvester De Sousa drove him clear by 2 ¼ lengths at Kempton in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Nursery Handicap.

Being previously described as a ‘chronic hold up’ horse, this was his chance to race in a slightly different manner under the master of front running. The horse proved his courage in making all after breaking quickly from the stalls, pulling out plenty to secure his victory.

He is a horse we’ve always had plenty of time for. His work has been very good this year but it has taken him a while to mentally put it together on the racetrack. Now he finally seems to have gotten the hang of things and will be a nice horse to have for next year.’ Tom Ward, trainer.

FARASI LANE is owned by an enthusiastic group of owners that include Matthew Webber – whose colours were being carried, The Schiff Family and Toby Ward. We are thrilled that they have now earned their spotlight minute on the track!

This triumph has hopefully given them all a huge smile on their faces and a happy moment to keep at the forefront of their minds as we head into our second nationwide lockdown.
