DIAMOND BAY won the Lingfield Racing League finale on Thursday (11 August) evening for his owners Ebury Racing 5 under a brilliant ride from Daniel Muscutt.

Only having run the week prior this could have been a questionable challenge for any stayer, but Diamond Bay having won on a backup run before, and the £50k carrot dangling it was worth a try. And, thanks to Matt Chapman, London and South’s team manager, Diamond Bay was given the opportunity to race for this unusual prize money pot.
