Crystal Flies into First

CRYSTAL FLYER is an exciting prospect for the rest of the 2024 season. Purchased for just £44,000 at Tattersalls Book 1 October Sale, she is one the team are very excited about.

Drawn out wide, the three year old daughter of Magna Grecia won cosily at Goodwood on the third time of asking under Pat Dobbs. A 5/2 favourite, CRYSTAL FLYER got her nose in front winning by a length and a quarter in the Class 2 Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes on 25th May 2024.

Tom was very happy with the filly's performance:

"Crystal Flyer impressed me with how she went through the race. She got caught a little flat footed from the 2f - 1f pole but I was encouraged with how she hit the line. She looks a proper staying filly for the future. She is still very raw but has lots of potential and could hopefully hit the higher grades in the near future."
