With the hustle and bustle about the yard this past week I’ve been a little slow at publicising what was a very impressive win by Diamond Bay last week - he deserves a shout out!

DIAMOND BAY left the field in the dust last Monday 19th July at Royal Windsor when stepping up to a 1m 3 ½ furlongs. Ridden by Tom Marquand he was given a very positive ride, pulling clear and extending to the line.

The lovely son of New Bay unfortunately suffered a difficult fracture just as the penny had dropped last Autumn (2020) but showed this toughness to overcame surgery and rehab returning to our yard in tremendous form and ready to pick up where he had left off.

He’s always been a beautiful mover and we’ve known he would love a trip, so to confirm this at Windsor last week was thrilling. He is coming into his own now and there is plenty more to come from this gelding.

Thank you Ebury Racing 5 and partners for being so patient and hopefully this will continue to reward you.
