A Gutsy Win for Skellig Isle

A fantastic way to start the month, SKELLIG ISLE showed plenty of determination yesterday (1st August) at Nottingham to fight off challengers to win on her third time of asking.

Hot out the stalls, the two-year-old daughter of Mohaather was given a prominent ride from PJ McDonald over the five furlong distance. She rallied hard and was first past the post by a neck. Bred by Bumble Bloodstock Ltd, Skellig Isle has improved with each start and looks to be a filly with plenty of promise for the future.
