2026 Yearlings
The Next Generation
Every year Alex and I work hard to bring home the best horses we can from the sales, and this year we’ve particularly focused on SIRE POWER.
The mare and her ability to produce well is arguably most important when selecting stock, but the only way to confidently back up the mare is to give her a proven stallion. This year we can boast that within our budgets we’ve purchased only top sires with strong statistical abilities to produce a Stakes winner, and sires who are racing their way to the top. We are proud to share with you sons and a daughter of; Gleneagles, Churchill, Study Of Man, Kameko and Sands Of Mali.
This selection of yearlings are all available to buy, or buy shares in. Please speak to one of the team, or contact [email protected] for more information.
KAMEKO (USA) ex KHATIBA (IRE)
Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale - Lot 448
This chestnut colt, purchased for €12,000 is by Classic winning racehorse Kameko, who is an emerging sire, having already produced several Group winners at the top level, including New Century (Gr.1).
His dam Khatiba was a multiple time winner, achieving an OR of 95, and she has already produced four winners from as many runners.
Kameko’s yearling colts have been averaging over 70k since coming to the market, so we think we have started off with fantastic value.

Lot 505 - Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale
This is a quality and athletic colt who we purchased for €52,000 . He displayed a superbly willing attitude during his time at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.
By Gleneagles, sire of the international Group-1 star Calandagan and Group-1 July Cup winner Mill Stream, out of a full-sister to Group-3 Horris Hill winner Nebo, this colt has the looks and pedigree to make up into an exciting performer from next spring onwards and looks a likely type for the very lucrative Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes next September at the Curragh.

‘‘A strong colt with a lovely outlook’’
NEW BAY ex FOLK DANCE
A quality middle-distance colt, purchased for 40,000 gns, by one of Europe’s leading stallions New Bay, the sire of Group-1 winners Bay City Roller, Bay Bridge, Bayside Boy and Saffron Beach.
The colt is out of a daughter of Group-1 winning mare Folk Opera. Furthermore, his dam’s half-sister is the mother of all-time Hong Kong great Romantic Warrior. This colt’s two year-old half-brother, Grove Street, was an easy winner recently and rates an upwardly mobile 89-rated prospect for next season.

‘‘A solid Book 2 model with plenty of step.’’
STUDY OF MAN ex SHUMAILA
This 30,000gns purchase is a refined, classy type with an excellent attitude; a typical stamp of the progeny of his popular young sire Study Of Man, producer of international Group-1 star Kalpana as well as ten other European Stakes winners.
This colt is a half-brother to 90-rated French filly Soumera, from a deep Aga Khan pedigree.

‘‘A masculine colt with power in each step’’
SANDS OF MALI ex I’M AVAILABLE
A tall, elegant, quality filly, purchased for 27,000gns, out of an 87-rated five-time winning mare by Nathaniel, herself a daughter of Group-3 winner, Group-1 placed Night Carnation.
Her sire, Sands Of Mali is achieving great things with his progeny from small books of unfashionable mares, with the likes of Group-1 winner Time For Sandals plus Stakes winners Ain’t Nobody, Sunlit Uplands, Copacabana Sands and Bamako Beach. He looks a stallion highly likely to progress further with his subsequent larger books of better quality mares. This filly is Great British Bonus qualified and also eligible for the two £250,000 Tattersalls Auction Stakes, both won by our Woodhay Wonder in 2023.

‘‘A scopey model with class and presence’’
STUDY OF MAN ex LUANG PRABANG
In 2023, Woodhay Wonder won both of the lucrative Tattersalls Auction Stakes races and we very much hope that her brother, by Study Of Man can follow in her hoofprints. Purchased for 27,000 gns, he displayes so many of the same physical characteristics as his successful half-sister, this colt has an exciting future and has a phenomenal mind.
Study Of Man has started his stud career with great zest, having already sired multiple Gr1 winner Kalpana amongst ten stakes winners in his first few crops.
